Job #01 - Security Chief  (Commissioned Officer)
Reports to: Executive Officer
Open to: Commissioned Officers
This is a Senior Officer position.  The Security is responsible for ensuring that security requirements are
maintained at all chapter functions.  This officer is also the chapter's treasurer.  The applicant for this position
should be a Commissioned Officer and have completed OTS, OCC, and SOO in addition to being a member in
good standing with STARFLEET.

Job #02 - Chief Science Officer (Commissioned Officer)
Reports to: Executive Officer
Open to: Commissioned Officers
This is a Senior Officer position.  The Chief Science Officer (CSO) is responsible for maintaining the Science
Department.  The CSO will interact with Junior Cadets (under 14 years of age) to give them challenging and
educational projects to perform during meetings and other chapter activities.  The CSO also coordinates all
science related projects conducted by the chapter.  OTS, OCC, SOO, and related academy science courses are
required for this position.  Applicants must be a member in good standing with STARFLEET International.

Job #03 - Chief Medical Officer (Commissioned Officer)
Reports to: Executive Officer
Open to: Commissioned Officers
This is a Senior Officer position.  The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for encouraging members to
take STARFLEET Academy courses, and serves as a liaison between the chapter and the academy.  The CMO is
also required to maintain (or obtain) CPR certification and is considered the first responder for medical issues for
the chapter.  Applicants must be a member in good standing with STARFLEET.

Job #04 - Marine D.O.I.C. (Commissioned or Warrant Officer)
Reports to: Marine O.I.C.
Open to: Commissioned and Warrant Officers
The Marine Deputy Officer in Charge is responsible for maintaining the Marine Strike Group, leading Marines, and
coordinating Marine Activities under the direction of the O.I.C.  The applicant for this position should have strong
leadership skills, be motivated, and be able to perform tasks with no supervision.  The applicant for this position
should be a Commissioned Officer or Warrant Officer, have completed OTS, PD-10, PD-15, and SOO, and be a
member in good standing with STARFLEET and the STARFLEET Marine Corps.

Job #05 - Operations Assistant Manager (Enlisted)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Open to: Enlisted (E-4 and higher)
The Assistant Manager for the Operations Department acts as an assistant to the Operations Manager.  
Organizational skills is a must for this position.  If appointed to this position you will be coordinating chapter
activities with other organizations, keep chapter records, and many other secretarial-type duties as defined by the
Operations Manager.  Applicants for this position should be a Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) or higher in rank.

Job #06 - Registered Nurse (Enlisted)
Reports to: Chief Medical Officer
Open to: All Members
Registered nurses are responsible for carrying out the CMO's instructions. They supervise practical nurses and
other auxiliary personnel who perform routine duties in the Medical department. This position is promotable to
Warrant or Commissioned Officer, must have completed OTS, and be a member in good standing with
STARFLEET.

Job #07 - Recruiting NCO (Enlisted)
Reports to: Executive Officer
Open to: Enlisted (E-5 and higher)
The Recruiting NCO is responsible for developing and maintaining a recruiting program to obtain new members
and retain current ones.  Candidates should have strong leadership skills to direct new members, and should
have a good understanding of how the chapter, region, and FLEET function and various programs available to
members.  Candidates shall have OTS completed within 90 days of appointment to position.

Job #08 - Away Team Commander (Enlisted, Warrant, or Commissioned)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Open to: All Members
The Away Team Commander is in charge of setting up and coordinating meetings, activities, events, and other
engagements, under direction of the Operations Manager, for the chapter.  Candidates for this position should
have strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines for setting up activities, and the ability to effectively
communicate chapter activities to the members of the chapter and the region.  This position is promotable to
Warrant or Commissioned Officer status upon the completion of required criteria.
